Allergen Block – Review & Giveaway (closed)
Allergen Block is another natural product to promote good health. Noticing a trend in the Health & Happiness Blog Party? Allergen Block and Little Allergies actually protect you from allergies before they start.
Pros: I’ve never been sure if I have allergies. I get a stuffed nose and itchy eyes easily, but I’ve always just lived with it and never been tested for Allergies. I decided to give this product a go, just to see how it would affect me. It comes in a small convenient tube that you can carry with you and is easy to dispense. You put a small amount on your finger tip and then rub it around your nostrils and right under you nose. It dries fast and doesn’ t smell, so you don’t even realize it is there. Over the next few hours, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that my eyes weren’t itchy and I could breathe quite well out of my nose. This tiny tube only contains .1 oz but up to 150 applications, meaning it will last quite a long time. It contains a patented formula that blocks indoor and outdoor allergens, and relieves symptoms such as:
sneezing
nasal congestion
runny nose
itchy nose
I’m actually really interested in having allergy testing done now to see if I am allergic to anything and will have to look into it.
Little Allergies is specifically formulated for kids. I don’t think that Chandler has any allergies, ![]()
so we didn’t try it on him. However, I do think it’s great that this product is available for kids that have allergies.
Cons: Allergen block contains petroleum, glycerin and “other ingredients.” Even though I’m glad that it’s drug free and a natural product, I am still wondering what the other ingredients are since I am putting it on my face and using it often. I definitely think adding the “other ingredients” to the product label would be nice.
Allergen block also only lasts for 4-6 hours. I think it would be nice to have an extended release formula that lasts longer, that way you wouldn’t necessarily have to carry the tube with you if you were outside or around allergens all day, and reapply every few hours.
As far as the effectiveness of the product goes though, no Cons there. It really is great!
The Bottom Line: Natural, drug free product that effectively protects against allergens.
Price:$14-16 depending on location

I learned An allergen is a microscopic substance that is responsible for causing an allergic reaction. Some common allergens are pollen, mold, dust mites and animal dander.

Little Allergies™ Allergen Block is effective only against airborne nasal allergens. If your child pets an animal and the animal dander gets on his or her hands, it is possible that your child might transfer allergens from the hands directly to the eyes if he or she rub their eyes. If this happens, your child may still experience symptoms such as itchy, watery eyes.

Because it is drug free and not taken internally, there are no side effects, like drowsiness, to deal with.

Claritin, Zyrtec and Benadryl are effective allergy medications (anti-histamines) which work very well on your allergy symptoms once the symptoms have already started. Chloraseptic™ Allergen Block, however, works by helping to target allergens BEFORE they cause nasal allergy symptoms. Chloraseptic™ Allergen Block is one weapon in your arsenal of defense against airborne allergens.

Allergen Block works by helping to block airborne allergens before they enter the nose, so your body does not have to fight them once inside your upper respiratory system. This would be amazing since I suffer from terrible environmental allergies. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love that it blocks all of the following: ragweed, pollen, pet dander, dust mites and house dust…especially the house dust as I am very allergic and don’t get to clean for dust as often as I would like!

The specific types of allergens which Chloraseptic™ Allergen Block targets are ragweed, pollen, pet dander, dust mites and house dust
This is great as I have a pollen allergy.
Thank you for the chance

From the description on the website, it sounds like it works by actually physically blocking dust and ragweed from entering your nose. A good idea.
