Because we live on the lake in the summer months we spend so much time down at the beach relaxing, which makes us all very happy and we also swim everyday and usually go boating and waterskiing so that keeps us healthy and fit. Our summer doesn’t last very long so we make the most of it while we can.

In the winter months we love to go to Bristol Mountain to ski as a family. That is my favorite thing to do during the cold months, it keep us all very happy and also very healthy and fit!

To stay happy I just have to look at my 3 beautiful children and it brings a smile to my face and joy in my heart. We also have 2 feisty dogs that bring so much playfulness and love into my life as well. Not to mention my amazing compassionate husband, so in the happy department I am so blessed. But, to stay healthy is not as easy and is a part of my life I work hard at maintaining. My motivation for staying healthy is my family and my own personal passion for loving how it feels to stay fit and eat quality healthy food so those are the 2 areas I focus on in maintaining my own physical health. I practice Yoga almost everyday, walk our dogs at least 2-3 times a day, and I jog at last 3-4 times a week. I love to cook and would like to think I am a bit of a Diva in the kitchen so I create savory healthy meals for my family everyday that are going to taste delicious and keep us all in good nutritional health. Taking the time everyday for me to make sure I am eating right and getting my exercise in keeps me well grounded, in touch with myself spiritually and ultimately a happy and healthy person. Try to stay focused on the good things. It matters so much more than doing the *right* thing, the things that others expect of us. The older you get the easier this one is. Want to be happy? Do what makes you happy and let others define their own happiness and do what makes them happy. Neither is more correct than the other- just right for you and not right for you.

My ways to stay healthy are to take a walk as often as I can. Even if it’s just down the street to the complex office, it is the best way for me to keep from becoming lazy. A great way for me to stay happy is to clean. Making the space around me originized and clean helps me sort out whatever it is in my head.
