Meaningful BeautyCindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty is a 7 step skin care regimen.  The face behind it, Cindy Crawford is well known.  Her career began in 1983, and since then she has graced over 600 magazine covers and is one of the world’s most recognized models.

Pros:  

Cleanse Skin Softening Cleanser
The cleanse is a creamy gel.  You apply it onto dry skin, and then rinse with warm water and a washcloth.  This doesn’t lather, but goes on like a gel.  It rinses easily and doesn’t make your skin feel tight.  It is formulated for sensitive skin and won’t irritate.  I can attest to this as I have sensitive skin which wasn’t irritated by cleanse, or the rest of the line for that matter.  I always test my cleansers to see how good of a job they do but using a toner afterward.  If you’ve ever used a toner, you’ll see how much dirt and makeup can be left over on your skin even after you cleanse.  I was pleasantly surprised to see how well of a job Cleanse did as I had hardly any dirt and makeup left over after I had used it.

The day moisture is very light weight and absorbs quickly. I sometimes notice with moisturizers that I have to wait 5-10 minutes to apply my foundation, to give the moisturizer time to absorb.  I can apply my foundation a minute after I’ve used this moisturizer and it blends nicely because the moisturizer has already been absorbed into my skin. It has a SPF of 20 which is higher than most other daily moisturizers.  I like this because it gives my face added protection.  It also sports antioxidants which help protect your skin against free radicals.

Repair Night Fluid
I liked this little exerpt that they had on their website about the night fluid:

When you sleep, your skin has important “repair” work to do. Maintenance 2 is specially formulated to benefit the skin overnight. Our 11 key ingredients help rejuvenate damaged skin to improve skin’s firmness and diminish the visible signs of aging. Skin will appear softer and healthier-looking overnight. It’s delivering intensive moisture and nutrients to the skin.

I always expect night time creams to be heavy as the one I had been using is just that.  This night time fluid is lightweight, but my skin feels so nice in the morning.  I like knowing that it’s doing it’s job rejuvenating damaged skin.

Revitalize Eye Cream
This cream is really gentle around the eye area and helps eliminate with pulling when you apply foundation or concealer afterwards.  I helps fight crows feet and fine lines around the eyes, and helps eyes appear brighter.  As I work graveyard shifts and have two little boys, there are some mornings I only get a few hours of sleep.  I notice that this eye cream with a little bit of concealer on top does a wonderful job masking some of that puffiness and sleep deprived look.

Purify Masque
Who doesn’t love a little pampering?  The masque is great for this.  You apply it and keep it on for 15-20 minutes.  It has a nice cooling sensation and as it dries, it somewhat hardens.  It was easy to wash off, and I definitely feel like my skin looked and felt rejuvenated.

Condition Neck Cream
I think it’s wonderful that this line has a cream especially for your neck.  I think this part of us sometimes gets neglected.  It is filled with antioxidants and feels so nice and silky.  Like the entire line, it absorbs quickly.  This has to be one of the aspects I like most about this line, the fact that everything absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling velvety soft.  

Renew Glowing Serum
The name of this is just what it is.  It smoothes and conditions while rejuvenating skin cells.  Everytime I use it, I notice an immediate difference.  My skin tone looks smoother and brighter.  

Cons:

picture-9Cleanse Skin Softening Cleanser
I did feel like I had to use more of the product in order to get the result I wanted. I’m also used to a cleanser that suds and foams, and this one doesn’t. It’s just something that I would have to get used to.

Protect Day Moisture
It is a bit runny, and I used too much the first time I used it. You really only need about 2 pumps to get great moisture coverage on your face.

Repair Night Fluid
No Cons on the night fluid. I like it and think it works quite well

Revitalize Eye Cream
As with most eye creams, a little goes a long way. Consider yourself warned so you don’t waste it!

Purify Masque
I guess if you don’t like that tightening feeling as the masque dries, that could be a con for you. But I definitely don’t see any. I love how it makes my skin feel.

Condition Neck Cream
I like that there is a neck cream, however I don’t understand the difference 100% between using this and a normal moisturizer on your neck.

Renew Glowing Serum
This is the one product in the entire line that doesn’t absorb quite as quickly.  It does feel a bit sticky and if you are using it before you apply foundation, wait a few minutes for it to completely absorb.

The Bottom Line: A good 7 step beauty regimen to help with aging.
