Big Eye Dummies Review

Under the stairs in our basement, we have a whole little room full of toys. My boys love to play with them but sometimes get bored of the same toys with the same concept. Big Eye Dummies brings a new innovative idea to toys while adding humor that parents can appreciate. To get the gist of the humor I am talking about, read the About Us page.

Pros: Big Eye Dummies are plush designer toys with interchangable eyes and mouths. They eyes and mouth are held in place by magnets, and are easy for little hands to take on and off. It’s intriguing enough that my 3 year old loves to do it over and over, and simple enough that my 18 month old gets the concept as well. We received Squeaky McGee to play with in our home. He is a funny looking giraffe and is super soft. Here is his bio from the Big Eye Dummies website:

There are 6 different dummies to choose from, and received a Creative Child Magazine award just last year.

Cons: I think it would be nice if the pieces came with a carrying case. Because each dummy has 2 sets of eyes and mouths, it’s easy to lose them. I put them in a ziplock baggie, but think it would be a good improvement if they came with them. I’d also like to see different sets of eyes and mouths sold in addition to the plush. That way you can have a variety of sets to interchange.

The Bottom Line: Designer plush toys with interchangeable eyes and mouth.

Price: $19.99

That’s a fun idea! I’m sure Jordan would love being able to make his toys look different.
