Pom Wonderful
In passing the refrigerated juices at the store, I’ve often seen Pom Wonderful and wondered exactly what it was. I remember looking at the label one day, seeing that it was 100% pomegranate …

Fancy Fortune Cookies – Review & Giveaway (closed)

Submitted by admin on July 11, 2009 – 1:49 pm280 Comments

dos_choco_coveredMy little brother got married in June.  We drove out of state to his wedding to help celebrate with him.
A few weeks before the wedding, I found out about Fancy Fortune Cookies.  They are fortune cookies that come in a variety of colors and flavors, and can easily be personalized.

Pros: What better favor to have at a wedding then personalized, chocolate dipped fortune cookies? We were able to give 90 of them out at my brother’s wedding. They had this cute saying in each of them:

“Love doesn’t make the world go round,
love is what makes the journey worthwhile.
Cheryl & Geoff – June 19, 2009″

These were such a hit with the guests. My nieces walked around with baskets and gave them out. It was fun to see different guests open them, smile when they read the fortune and enjoy a delicious chocolate dipped cookie. They added such a nice touch.

I loved the chocolate dipped cookies. We had a variety of white chocolate, milk chocolate and dark chocolate. The chocolate used is nice and rich, not waxy at all. I like the sophisticateddsc018412 look that dipped chocolate gives as well. There are 14 different flavors to choose from, so there’s bound to be something for everyone, and the colors add a fun touch as well.

And if you are looking for a fun gift or treat for a birthday, or other special occasion, I would definitely recommend the giant fortune cookies. It’s chocolate dipped, over 1 lb of fortune cookie and of course can be personalized.

Cons: I think it would be a nice option to be able to buy these in smaller quantities. As of now, you need to buy them in quantities of 100. Other than that, I think this is a very innovative and well thought out product, not to mention yummy!

The Bottom Line:Personalized fortune cookies that are great for any occasion.

I like the regular vanilla-flavored fortune cookies well enough, but I think I’d like to try the cherry-flavored ones. I would want to hand them out at Christmas, so the red color would be very appropriate, too.
