Pros: Both toys are definitely soft. They are easy for small hands to hold and grip and encourage development skills in small babies. Rowan was a big fan of the chacha barbells, and always runs around hitting them on his head. It’s pretty amusing to watch. Chandler likes playing with the stacker and this goes to show that these toys would be a hit not only with babies, but toddlers and small children as well.

They wipe up easily, and the colors are bright and vibrant. The sounds in the chacha barbells are amusing and add a fun element to baby toys that I haven’t seen before.
The zolo line offers 30 different toys, so there is a lot of great variety. I recall looking for soft toys for the boys when they were small babies and never being able to find very much, so it’s nice to see that the zolo toy line has so much to offer.

Cons: It was hard for Rowan to get the barbells on the barbell stacker. I think this may be because it is a plush toy and he has a plastic stacker that he is used to.
I also couldn’t find a place to turn the barbells off. It would be nice to have that option so we could take these toys to church and use them as quiet toys.
I was a bit surprised to see that both of these toys retail for over $20. The barbells are priced at $21.49 and the stacker at $24.99. It seems a bit high for plush baby toys, but the quality of the toys are great, thus making the price seem a bit more feasible.

The Bottom Line: Bright and fun baby toys that encourage development in multiple areas.

Price: Cha Cha Barbells – $21.49  Barbell Stacker – $24.99
