Kids and Learning
EB-logoTeaching my kids is important to me. I like to see their thinking process and help them learn. Chandler is at preschool age and I am constantly surprised at how well he picks up on concepts and learns. eeBoo has a great variety of learning helps and toys for your child. From preschool games to tot towers, eeBoo is about producing beautiful, useful and well-made products for children.

Pros: We received the Life On Earth Matching Game, More Things That Go Lacing Cards, and the Rabbit Activity Book & Pencil Set.  All of eeBoo’s products are quality made.  I can see them lasting well beyond Chandler and Rowan.  The lacing cards were a big hit with Chandler.  He will sit and lace them for 30-45 minutes at a time.  These are great at developing motor skills and give Chan a sense of accomplishment when he finishes one.  The cards are heavy duty, laminated on both sides and have very fun pictures.  The laces that come with them have five faux silk threads that won’t come unraveled.  These also come in a very sturdy box which is great for storing the cards.  They are also a great quiet activity which we take to church with us. Each set comes with 5 cards and laces, and at $14.95 these are a great value.  I plan on using these as a help for teaching preschool, and know the kids will love them.

The macthing game is great to help children with memory and recognition skills. It also gives you time to interact with your child as mine loves playing it with me. The Life on Earth set includes 48 pieces, each with the same sturdy quality that the lacing cards has. The colors and pictures are very vivid and this particular set is great in helping your child recognize different animals and plants. The Activity Book and Coloring Pencil Set has a lot of puzzles, games and coloring.

All of these products are suggested for ages 5 and up. Chandler will be 4 in a month and has been able to use all of them. Some of the activities in the activity book are still a bit hard though.
There are some other great products that have caught my attention and I know the next thing I will be ordering is the What Time Is It? Time Telling Game.

Cons: I honestly don’t have any cons I can find about the lacing cards. They are definitely well thought out.
Because the matching game has 48 pieces, it can get a bit messy if you have a few young kids playing. I’d like to see some sort of card holder included with this set to keep cards in place when you are playing the game.
On a different note, I find the eeBoo site could be organized a bit better. They offer a lot of great products, but when you get to the page that lists them, it’s hard to really find what you are looking for. It would be nice if they were alphabetized by product name, or if there was a search bar to find what you are looking for. I had a hard time trying to find the Activity Book on the product page so I actually had to google it before I found the page I could buy it on.
