Care Bears
Thinking about Care Bears is definitely a flashback for me. I loved Care Bears as a kid and my grandma even made me a Love-a-lot Care Bear which I still have to this day.
Care Bears Bear Buddies was just released on dvd September 22nd. Like most cartoons, Chandler was immediately drawn in. He calls it the Teddy Bears, and always asks to watch the Teddy Bears even though I’ve told him multiple times it’s the Care Bears.
About the DVD
Discover how good friends become true bear buddies as Lionsgate presents the new Care Bears™ DVD, Care Bears: Bear Buddies with eight never-before-released episodes from the top-rated Saturday morning CBS TV series. While supplies last, the all–new release comes packaged with a lovable toy bear buddy making for an incredible value. These adorable toy bears come in 6 different color characters, but are available for a limited time only, so kids will be eager to search for their favorite color bears on store shelves – and collect them all! Come journey with the Care Bears into Care-a-lot where the Care Bears learn about being true to themselves and each other. Watch as Share, Oopsy, Love-a-lot and the rest of the Care Bears embark on new adventures that focus on “friendship” from creating a rockin’ music band to trying to cheer up a sad friend. Care Bears: Bear Buddies teaches kids valuable lessons about being true to themselves and each other, understanding, and forgiveness – themes of emotional intelligence that help kids develop and are mom-friendly.
Both my boys like the little toy bear that came with the dvd, and I must add that it is pretty cute!

I always try to let me children know to give and share. It makes me feel good when they donate change to the Animal shelters, or to their school change drive.
I know that every bit can make a difference, and I love that my kids are helping out!

I used to teach pre-k and an after school program for older children so I’d like to think that i’ve taught many things to many children but of all the values I’ve taught I think that friendship has been the one that I’ve taught most with my younger kiddos.

One value I have taught my kids is to be thankful. To be grateful in their hearts for what they have and to say it out loud too.

One thing I’ve taught my kids is manners. They open the door for others, regardless if it’s for a man or woman. They also say please, thank you, and you’re welcome.

An important value that I’ve taught my child is to never hit, under any circumstance & that it doesn’t solve problems, it just creates new ones.
