When it comes to feeding your toddler and child, it seems like there are all sorts of products and helps. One in particular is the Siliskin glass by Silikids. This glass is covered by a silicone skin which is great for little hands to help grip.SiliskinGaqu

Pros: The idea behind this glass is great if your children want to drink from actual glasses. I was a bit nervous to have either of my boys drinking from a glass when we first got this. Let’s just say they’ve both broken glasses in the past. After dropping and throwing it on the floor multiple times, it has endured. It is still in perfect condition.
The silicone skin has bumps and holes to help your child grip the glass which means it’s easier to hold on to.

Silicone is also a smart choice because

  • It’s non toxic and hypo allergenic
  • Safe
  • BPA free

Cons: The sleeve is a bit challenging to get on and off at first. Once you get the hang of it, it isn’t so bad though. I actually tried just washing it with the sleeve on. While this seems to work ok, I noticed little pieces of food getting stuck between the sleeve and glass which looked pretty gross.
I also think the price point is a bit high. $7.99 seems a bit high to me for one glass. I think as a consumer, it would be more appealing to possibly buy if I saw it for around $4.00.
