Classics From Hasbro, Mr. Potato Head & Play-doh + Giveaway (closed)
Simple Classics for Holiday Gifts
You know those toys that every kids should have? Play-doh and Mr. Potato Head are two of those. They are both products that we’ve had in our house since Chandler was old enough to play with them.
Play-Doh
Play-Doh has some awesome new sets that would make perfect holiday gifts, and are easy on the budget which we all like. The burger builder is a set that we reviewed earlier in the year. To see the review, click here. My boys have loved the burger builder and it’s been fun to see Chandler use his imagination. Another set that I think that would be fun is the Ice Cream Shop. It retails for $14.99. With this set you can make candies, cookies, pretzels and even decorate a cake.
Mr. Potato Head
The boys have had fun playing with Captain Potato Chips, a fun Mr. Potato Head that Hasbro sent us. He comes equipped with a pirate hat, eye patch, mustache, parrot, hook, and peg leg as special accessories. I think Mr. Potato head is a great developmental toy for kids learning about eyes, ears and so forth. Row will be 2 this winter and when he sits down to play with it, we talk about which body parts go where and then talk about his as well. He’s starting to recognize features on his face which is fun. Mr. Potato head is suggested for ages 2+ and Chandler loves playing with him as well. He creates his potato head and pretends with him.
Captain Potato Chips is also very affordable at $9.99, and there are many other specialized potato heads at the Hasbro Shop.
Price: Mr. Potato Head starts at just $3.99, Play-doh products start as low as $.99
