Holly – While I guess I may see your point, it’s JUST a toy. Legos are a little different than a video game. My brother in law has never played Halo, nor would his mom probably allow the game in their home. But he’s way into legos and building so he loved this set.

That’s a cute building set. I thinks sets like Legos, K’nex and Mega Bloks are great for kids of all ages, especially if it gets them away from the tv and using their own imagination. I can see how a ship like this has appeal to a boy! (Right now my youngest is playing with Duplos… gotta love it!)

I am not comfortable with marketing to children adult
(rated T for teen) products. Halo is a very violent game and I don’t think any 8 year old needs to get conditioned to think that killing, in any form, is good.

Seems like very fun toys for boys around Parkers age! I wouldn’t have a clue how to build them though. That’s crazy there are so many pieces!
