Bakugan Time for Battle DVD + Giveaway (closed)

If you had asked me a few months ago what Bakugan was, I wouldn’t be able to tell you. That is until a friend told me her son wanted the Bakugan spheres for Christmas. That peaked my curiosity a bit. Naturally, when we received “Time for Battle” on dvd I wanted to sit down with the boys to see what it was all about.

About the dvd
This winter will heat up with danger and tougher battles in Bakugan “Time for Battle” Volume 6, the latest DVD release from Cartoon Network’s popular television series. Featuring five action-packed episodes, viewers can follow Dan and Drago as they continue racking up the wins and transform into new warriors including an amazing Delta Draonoid II. But will Masquerade’s new plan to forever banish Dan and his friends to the Doom Dimension succeed?

My Take
Not knowing anything about Bakugan, I was a bit confused at first. I finally realized that it’s about a group of kids who get together to play Bakugan. The card game and spheres come to life and create a captivating action cartoon. I also thought it was interesting how they tie a life lesson in somehow, like not being a sore loser, or sharing. Chan loved the cartoon, but I felt like it was a bit old for him, and might be more suitable for the 6+ age group.
