Chuggington on Playhouse Disney

Trains
My boys love trains. Actually, I think love is an understatement. Over the years we have accumulated quite a few dvd’s and toys. And what do they always go back to? You’ve got it – the trains. Thomas the Tank Engine is a favorite and is something both boys love. So when we were able to get a sneak peak of Chuggington, Playhouse Disney’s new series, I didn’t even have to wonder if Chan and Rowan would like it. As soon as we put the dvd in, both boys were glued. And yes, I did sit down and watch it with them. After all, who is the one writing this post?

About Chuggington
Chuggington actually comes from a preschool train series based out of London. The founders within this company have backgronds in building and managing shows like Bob the Builder, Barney, and of course Thomas the Tank Engine.

A Mom’s Take
I think the series will be one that will stick around in our house, I’ve already got it set to record on the dvr. I also like when shows teach simple life lessons. One that sticks out to me is when Wilson the train doesn’t get enough sleep. He has a special job to deliver mail the next day and keeps falling asleep on the job. The people almost don’t get their mail and he learns it isn’t smart to stay up too late. The animation is cute, love the characters, and I must admit, the theme song gets stuck in your head. Chandler is singing it all of the time, just see below. And my hubby has caught me singing it a time or two.

Chuggington premiered yesterday, the 18th on Playhouse Disney. Head over to the Chuggington website for videos, games and more!

The product buzzed about in this article was a sample provided to me by Disney and Litzky PR. These views and opinions are my own and I was not compensated to write this article.

Ha! Just realized the other commenter doesn’t have tv, either. You seem to be speaking to the wrong demographic. LOL

I’ve been seeing people talking about Chuggington all week. Guess that’s just one more tv show my poor deprived kids won’t know about. Hope there’s nothing about Chuggington on the SATs.

I wish we had tv so my boys could watch it! Jordan is obsessed with trains lately so I know he would love it.
