Turning 27
I just got done working my 3rd night in a row. (I work 12 hour graves.) Needless to say, I’m burnt out and exhausted. The thought of coming home to sleep in my bed was all too enticing. And….today is my birthday! As I pulled up to park in front of our house, there was a Happy Birthday sign stuck in the snow, which was thoughtful of hubby. Upon approaching the door, I noticed a tiara hanging from the knob and I knew something was up. Sure enough, there was my hubby and two boys, waiting for me to come home, at 4:45 am. Our front room was decorated.
Chandler was beside himself with excitement. He had a party blower and was singing Happy Birthday. So SO cute.
Then I noticed the pink cake that my hubby had made as well. I think he did a pretty darn good job.
I think it’s a pretty good start to my 27th birthday. 
Now I’m off to sleep!

Yuck to the 12 hour shifts, and 3 of them in a row could make anyone burnt out and in need of sleep.

Hope you had a great birthday. That was so thoughtful of your Hubby. I would say I wish my husband would bake me a cake but I like my house too much for him to burn it down. He really did do a great job on the cake.

I turned 27 this year too. It’s going to take me another month I think to get used to it. I’ve been out of high school for 9 years! how weird is that? Your family is so cute to throw you such a cute surprise!
