   actually $150 doesn’t seem too bad to fix it. When you consider the time running to buy materials you would have to do yourself and the price of them and then the time to fix it…to have someone else do it and know its right, seems worth it

   Just curious, is that safety glass, because the little edges at the bottom look so sharp. If it’s not safety glass I’d be afraid to mess with it, unless I first covered all the glass surfaces with duct tape, to keep anymore from breaking while I was taking it out, or someone else was taking it out.

   I am pretty sure it isn’t safety glass. We put sheet rock up all around the window and had a guy come look at it today. $150 with the labor, but it’s better than taking it out ourselves and somebody getting hurt.

    Ooops, we just went through something similar over here except it was my 1 yr old that got a hold of a flashlight. fyi if you take the window out and bring it into a shop it’s so much cheaper then having a company come out and replace it.
