actually $150 doesn’t seem too bad to fix it. When you consider the time running to buy materials you would have to do yourself and the price of them and then the time to fix it…to have someone else do it and know its right, seems worth it

Looks like a trip to Home Depot is in order. But heck if it were our house, my husband would probably duct tape a peice of cardboard over it and say, “there all fixed”.

I am pretty sure it isn’t safety glass. We put sheet rock up all around the window and had a guy come look at it today. $150 with the labor, but it’s better than taking it out ourselves and somebody getting hurt.

Just curious, is that safety glass, because the little edges at the bottom look so sharp. If it’s not safety glass I’d be afraid to mess with it, unless I first covered all the glass surfaces with duct tape, to keep anymore from breaking while I was taking it out, or someone else was taking it out.
