Field Trips For All From Lunchables

Field Trips
Remember those field trips in elementary in middle school? I sure do. It seems like I would look forward to them forever, and it was always fun to leave school and have a different experience. Those are the experiences that you really learn from and take with you, however some schools are cutting down field trips according to the following statistic:

According to a 2009 report from The American Association of School Administrators, it’s estimated that over the course of the current school year, the number of school districts eliminating field trips will increase by 56 percent. That’s more than 30,000 schools.

Lunchables recognizes the importance of field trips, and wants to help deserving classes go on inspiring and educational field trips. That’s why they launched “Field Trips For All.”

I loved this following video. It was fun for me to see the kid’s eyes light up and see the wheels turning in their heads.

Nominate a Class
As I mentioned above, Lunchables wants to help classes go on field trips, and that is why they are giving 50 field trips away. Anyone who is age 6 or older can visit here to nominate a class. I have some very deserving nieces and a nephew that I will be nominating for these field trips. I want to see them succeed and get the best education and experiences that they can get, and I think one of these field trips would do just that. So go ahead, nominate a classroom that you think deserves a field trip. Who would you nominate?

I love this campaign! What a great way to give back. I remember that field trips were a big deal when I was in school. Something fun and exciting to look forward to.

Oh, my..there are so many deserving to be able to go on field trips..I think I would nominate some of the ones working with low achieving students; those students benefit from the stimulation of a trip and it can give them something to work toward and motivation to read, research, etc
