Swimwear
What woman doesn’t want to feel good in a swimsuit? I know I do! However, I became increasingly self conscious of myself in a swim suit after I had 2 babies. Mostly my tummy because genetics were not nice to me. I also want something to bring my tummy in because my abs are and I am afraid will always be split. Called diastasis recti, in pregnancy your stomach muscles can split. I can still stick 2 fingers in between mine. I thought after working out hard, (I’ve been training for a half marathon for 2 months) that they would come back together, but they haven’t. Pros: Hapari is a line of modest swimwear that you can feel confident in. I was sent the Red Butterfly Aloha Tankini. It’s the swimsuit pictured above. I guess I’m making myself a little bit vulnerable, but I wanted to give you a glimpe of the swim suit on me, post baby body, farmer tan and all. 
(I have been running about 15 miles a week right now so that is definitely paying off.)
Inetead of binkini bottoms, I chose a boy short. This is one huge plus about Hapari. You can mix and match tops and bottoms. Can I just tell you how much I ADORE boy cut bottoms? I love that they are a short and cover what they need to without being bulky. Plus, I’m not pulling something out of my rear everytime I get out of the pool. Can I also tell you that boy cut bottoms are somewhat hard to find? If you’ve looked at all, you’ll know what I’m taking about. The bottoms that I got are completely lined and have great support.
The colors and styles at Hapari are absolutely adorable, and I love that you have so many options. One thing that’s really cool is that most of their tankini suits can be worn with the straps 3 different ways. That definitely gives you versatility. You can wear it as a halter, a tank, or with a criss cross back.
The top has a built in bra with a nice amount of padding. The fabrics are nice and wash up nice as well. After wearing this swimming the other night, I’ve decided that it is super comfortable, and I love the coverage that it provides. They definitely have a great line of modest swimsuits.
Cons: The bottom part of the top of the swimsuit is not lined, and I wish it was. I’m not sure of the reasoning behind that, but I think it would be a nice plus. At first I also didn’t like that the bra pads were not removable. I’ve had swimsuits where the pads get distorted in the washing machine because they aren’t removable. Yeah, that can make a person feel self conscious. However, this hasn’t been a problem with this swimsuit and I think it’s because the pads are a nice quality. I also had to order a size down. I’m generally a size 6 and fluctuate between 140-145 lbs. A lot of times I will opt for a size medium, but was advised on the website to order a size down. I’m glad I did, the small fits perfectly. So if you are thinking about ordering and are between sizes, consider ordering down.
