Strollers
In the last 4 1/2 years, we’ve had 5 different strollers. We’ve had everything from a single stroller that went with our first travel system, to the Jeep Wrangler All Weather Umbrella Stroller featured in this post. Having an umbrella stroller is a first for us, so it was interesting to see what we liked and didn’t like about it.
Pros: Umbrella strollers are meant to be compact. This one definitely is. It’s smaller than any stroller we’ve had before, and takes hardly any room in our SUV. It’s nice to keep in the back of our SUV because we have a stroller we can use, but also have lots of room for other things that we may need to put in it. The folded height is 9.5x10x42.5″. It’s also very light so getting it in and out is definitely easy.
Sometimes with an umbrella stroller, you sacrifice having a canopy. I love that this has a canopy which shades your child from the sun. The three point harness is easy to buckle and has padding on the front.
I also really like how the handles are angled, and the comfort grip they have, it makes for easy, comfortable pushing.

There is also a cool climate feature which allows you to roll up the back part of the seat, exposing mesh which is great for hot days. The rolled up part also acts as a head rest. On cooler days, you can roll the fabric of the chair back down to keep your child warmer.
The cargo pockets on the side are nice for holding items as well and can velcro on and off.
The stroller has all terrain wheels, and individual brakes on the back of the wheels which are easy to use.
And last, but not least is the cup holder. This was a nice little thought out detail as most umbrella strollers don’t have a cup holder.
The Jeep Wrangle All Weather Stroller holds up to 35 lbs, which means we can use it for another year or two with Rowan as he is around 27 lbs right now. The color scheme is adorable and I love the overall look of this stroller.
Cons: While the sun shade is nice to have, the top tends to peak up when you fold up the stroller. This means that the next time you use the stroller, you have to push the shade down to get it to have a more rounded look again.
I also think it would be nice to have a small fabric basket underneath the stroller instead of the pockets on the side to hold items. While it’s nice to have any storage at all, the pockets on the side can be inconvenient as you have to stop the stroller to put something in as opposed to a basket underneath a stroller that you can throw something in.
The handle height is fine for me, but my husband who is 4 inches taller doesn’t like it so much. He feels like he has to bend down to push the stroller. He also feels like he has to take small steps or else he is kicking the wheels. I actually felt this way a little bit too, and I think we both had this problem because we are taller.
Price: $59.99 (On Sale at Amazon for $45 or less depending on the color.)
