It’s Hot!
It’s hot here. Hot where you live? I’m sure most of you would answer yes. We’ve been staying cool by playing in the water outside, just staying inside, and with popsicles and ice cream. When I see ice cream of any sort, it screams summer. It brings back great memories for me. To this day, I love ice cream but I don’t always love the calories that it packs with it. Breyers has a new Smooth and Dreamy line of bars and sandwiches that are made with their double churned process which means they have less calories and fat. As far as taste goes? Just keep reading, and you’ll find out.

Taste Test
I already like the double churned ice cream. It’s rich yet light, and super tasty. Since I knew I liked the ice cream, I had high expectations of the bars. After drooling over the varieties at the store, I settle on the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sandwiches. Cookie dough is a favorite in this house, so I knew it would be the preference of everyone. As soon as my 2 year old saw the package he started saying. “Want nummies!” Smart boy, takes after his mom. Remember how I said I had high expectations? Consider them met. Smooth and Dreamy is the perfect name for these sandwiches. The cookies were soft, the ice cream was delicious and guess what? Only 160 calories, and 4 grams of fat. That’s for 2 cookies AND ice cream. These are little baby sized sandwiches either, they are a nice size and satisfy your sweet tooth. Next on the list? Triple Chocolate Chip bars.

Don’t they look heavenly? I have a craving, and I’m headed out the door soon to satisfy it. :)
