Dress Up
Who says dressing up is just for girls? Yes, you might note that Halloween is a few months away, and that’s generally the time kids dress up, but what about for everyday fun? I do a trade in our local rec center daycare and my boys are constantly dressing up in costumes that they have there. Because we don’t have any girls, I hadn’t given much thought to dressing up all year round, but I definitely am now. My sister mentioned that she has a friend that has all sorts of dress up costumes for her boys and they love it. After hearing Chan squeal when he opened this Spider Man Muscle Torso Costume, I don’t doubt that he would love to have a dress up bin.  I think we will slowly collect costumes to add to it.

Boys Halloween Costumes
Since Chan is getting older, he’s getting an opinion about what he wants to be for Halloween. Because of this, I need somewhere that I can go that is a great resource, but also isn’t going to break the bank. Ever gone to get a costume a few days before Halloween? Everything is picked over and overpriced. Costume SuperCenter is a great resource in that they have a huge selection of Halloween costumes, with prices that are very reasonable. The spiderman costume that Chandler is in retails for $44.99, but sells at Costumer SuperCenter for only $29.99. This particular one has muscles built in and seems like it will hold up well. My only complaint is that I thought this costume ran a bit small when it came to the fabric mask. We ordered a size small which is 4-6x. Chandler is pretty average when it comes to height and weight, and isn’t quite 5. I felt like the mask was a little small, and he might outgrow it quickly. So if you are thinking of a costume and aren’t quite sure about the sizing, this particular one I probably would have ordered up so that he could wear it for a year or two.
