Squeaker
I have two stealth little boys who like to wander. Chan is getting better since he’s approaching 5, but Rowan is a different story. He’s a mastermind at getting outside when he’s not supposed to, wandering quietly away at the store, and just plain running away. Sometimes I don’t want to go anywhere because it’s hard to keep track of both my boys. Not when he’s wearing Wee Squeak shoes! Wee Squeak is a line of baby and toddler squeaky shoes that are not only cute and squeaky, but help you keep tabs on your child.

Pros: The past few weeks, Rowan has been sporting this chocolate squeaky tennis shoe. It would be an understatement to say they are adorable. It goes with just about everything he has, and has a cute sporty look. The shoes are made well and are doing great withholding the wrath of toddlerhood. There is a nice amount of traction on the bottom of the shoe, with a nice flexible sole that is great for little feet. With each step that he takes, the shoes squeak which gives me peace of mind when we are out in public. It also tends to make spectators smile as they see my toddler squeaking by. There might be places where squeaking isn’t so cool, aka church. No problem, simply pull the squeakers out of the side of the shoe, and it’s quiet. I really like to be able to have this option.

The shopping experience on Wee Squeak’s website couldn’t be better. You are able to see if a shoe is or isn’t in stock, they have large nice pictures, you can sort by boys or girls or style, and can add a pair of shoes with a simple click of the mouse. Shipping was very fast and overall the experience was great! They also have some cute styles coming out this fall. Below is a sneak peek at what they will be offering.

Cons: If you feel inside the shoe, there is a raised part from the front third almost to the back. This is the part that allows the shoe to squeak when you child steps on it. Rowan is currently wearing a size 8, and I find these a bit snug, possibly because of the raised part inside. I’d like to see this more just in the heel, but this is just a preference of mine as we’ve owned a couple pair of different squeaky shoes.
I’d also like to see a description of the shoes when I am shopping on the website. I mentioned above that there are nice colorful pictures, but a description of what the shoe is made of, and features of it can sometimes influence me as a consumer to buy.

Price: Beibi line starts at $16.95, other shoes are $31.95
