Never Ending Pasta
Just thinking about Olive Garden makes me want to jump in the car so that I can devour their warm breadsticks, delicious soup, or tasty pasta. Hands down, Olive Garden is a favorite place for hubby and me to dine. I am never disappointed with their food, the service is always great, and the atmosphere is nice too. If you haven’t already heard, until October 10th, you can get endless pasta from Olive Garden for just $8.95. The pasta boasts over 40 different sauce combinations and includes unlimited breadsticks, and salad or soup. Yum!

America’s Pasta Passions
After a national survey was conducted concerning pasta, nearly seven in ten (68%) Americans believe that an Italian restaurant is the perfect place to bring the family. 

But friends and significant others are a close second! More than half of Americans say that an Italian restaurant is also the perfect place to bring friends (55%) or a date (54%)
Other findings from the survey you might find interesting include:

  • If given the choice to sit down to an Italian dinner with a special person like a relative, movie star, celebrated athlete or the President of the United States, among others, 47 percent of Americans would choose a family member.
  • Nearly one-fourth of Americans admitted that they wish a delicious meal would never end.
  • If choice was no longer an option when it came to pasta sauces, 74 percent of Americans would stick to meat sauce, Alfredo or marinara sauce for the rest of their lives.
  • When it comes to food, 35 percent of Americans associated Italian cuisine with generosity and abundance, more than any other type of food. Other fare that comes to mind includes American (31%), Asian (18%) or Mexican (13%)
