Here’s another easy recipe that is so SO tasty, since I’m all about simple and taste. It only takes about 10 minutes to prep, and 45 minutes start to finish. I’ve added some of my own twists to the original recipe, like parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Also, I like to use precooked bacon. It’s a lot less greasy, and less in calories. You can actually make this a low calorie recipe if you use fat free cream cheese and turkey bacon.
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 12 pieces of bacon
- garlic powder
- Place the boneless skinless chicken breasts between 2 pieces of wax paper, and pound with a meat tenderizer until chicken is flat and thin.
- Spread 1 oz of cream cheese on each chicken breast.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder
- Roll up each chicken breast and wrap 2 pieces of bacon around each roll
- If you choose, you can secure the wrapped chicken with toothpicks, but I don't normally have to do this.
- Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink
- Five minutes before the end of the bake time, sprinkle the top with parmesan cheese
