Shaping Your Abs
If there’s one thing that isn’t the same since I’ve had kids, it’s been my abs. I’d written in a previous post a few months back that I have diastis recti, or in other words, my abs split while I was pregnant, and they still have never completely come back together. Therefore, I have a bit of a pooch which almost looks like I’m pregnant sometimes. I do a ton of cardio exercise since I run so much, but in all reality, I think I need to give a little bit of focus on core training, so that I can specifically target those areas in my abdomen. There are all sorts of products out there. I’ve seen everything from workout videos to a tummy belt. I will admit that I’ve bought a few things, Hip Hop Abs being one of those. I ultimately bought it because of reviews that I read on it, and I must admit that it’s a fun workout that gets my abs going. I did first see this set on an infomercial, but wanted to do my research first.

I’m sure you’ve seen all sorts of infomercials and advertising on different products that are proven to help or give you rock hard ads. I definitely have seen my fair share of them. Ultimately though, it’s nice to have resources to consult that will give you the bottom line on a product. That’s why I looked for reviews on the workout videos, and why I would want to read a Tummy Belt Review before buying one of those.
My point in the end is simple. There are all sorts of products out there, but make sure you do your research to make sure you aren’t just influenced by advertising. Look at the pros and cons, find reviews and then choose something that you think will work for you. (And I’m definitely recommending Hip Hop Abs. Fun workout, great for the abs.)

I admit I gave HHA a go. Very interesting and a good break from a regular workout regimen!

Also, if you can pull off the “Learn to Dance” segment, you’d be a legend at the next wedding reception!

This is the beauty of the net, that you can have reviews about most of the product. Thanks for your post

Research is ALWAYS key when looking for a good exercise program — sometimes the stuff that is a “fad” really isn’t the best.

I’ll have to look into this — I know my abs are going to need LOTS of work once this baby is born.
