Easy 4 Ingredient Fudge Brownies
With the holidays among us, there will be holiday parties, treats for neighbors and more. This fudge brownie recipe is one that my mom introduced me to years ago. I always get tons of compliments anywhere we go and they are SO incredibly good. You can frost them for the ultimate chocolate experience, but they are just as tasty without the frosting. They feed a large crowd since they are made in a cookie sheet, which is a plus when taking them to holiday parties. Best of all, you can have them in and out in less than a half hour!
- 1 chocolate cake mix
- 1 small package instant pudding
- 2 c. milk
- 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
- 1 tub chocolate frosting (optional)
- Mix cake mix, pudding and milk until blended.
- Pour into a greased cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes
- Let cool and spread frosting on top
***drool*** I’m definitely adding these to the menu this week I’m going to try white chocolate chips I love the look of the chips on top, thanks!

I never would have thought to make brownies with a cake mix. I’d put nuts in mine instead of the chocolate chips. Yum!

So drooling, they look so good. I spend almost 40 minutes preparing homemade brownies from scratch, gonna definitely try these!
Yeah, the prep time on these is less than 5 minutes. So nice!
These brownies look sinful and heavenly at the same time! I need to try them ASAP!
this has been my go to need a quick dessert to make recipe for years now! Amazing aren’t they? I love that it makes the big pan of them. I never frost them as I think that would be way too much as they are pretty rich and chocolately non frosted. we have experimented and used other type chocolate chips too..peanutbutter, mint etc.
Ooh – I bet they are good with other types of chips in them! My mom usually frosts hers and they are so so good. Granted, you can’t eat more than one, but they are still way good.
Totally making these tomorrow.
You should! But be warned – you’ll probably end up eating half the pan. 😉
Are they cake like b/c they are made with the cake mix? I’m a big fan of fudge like brownies but these look so delish!
The pudding makes them a LOT more like brownies. They are super moist and much more like a brownie than cake.
These look so good! I’ve never made brownies with a cake mix before, I usually just use the boxed brownie mixes.
This recipe puts the boxed brownies to shame. It’s THAT good.
