Slim-Fast Woman of Wow!
As I told you a week ago Wednesday, I am a Slim-Fast Woman of Wow! I’m incredibly excited about this opportunity as Slim-Fast is a product I really love and believe in.

As a kick off for the Women of Wow program, I was able to attend the Studio Wow event in New York City last week. I was able to meet 4 of the other 9 bloggers participating and have my own little wow moment. I met with celebrity stylist Joey Maalouf, fashion stylist Jacqui Stafford, cooking guru Robin Miller, Slim-Fast’s Dietician Ali Auerbach and photographer Nigel Barker. I was able to get some one on one with how I could look and feel my best. Over the next four months, I’m going to share my Vow to Wow journey with you, and give you some tips and tricks that I learned at the Studio Wow event.  Here’s the all star lineup the day of the event!

My Vow To Wow
You may be wondering why I am participating in this Slim Fast Vow to Wow program. I’ve been told on many occasions that I don’t need to lose weight, but then again I’m not quite at my target of where I want to be either. I’m 5’9″ with a small bone structure. All through high school I weighed around 125. I was very physically active with dancing, swimming and more. Once I went to college, I put on about 10 lbs. Go figure, right? It was probably good for me, and I felt really great at 135. This was my weight when my husband and I got married. My first child I packed on around 60 lbs and lost all but the last 5. My second child I gained around 50 lbs and lost all but the last 10. I sat around 150 for quite some time and then I started running, a LOT.  Enough so that I was crazy enough to run a full marathon.  (I think I’ll stick with half marathons from now own. ;) )

My brother and me after the Top of Utah Marathon

Even though I’ve taken up running, I haven’t been good about really counting calories. I eat pretty healthy but have never thought too much about what I take in. I have a few different goals for this vow to wow program which will last 4 months. I would love to get back down to 135, but I do have more muscle than I did before, so I think 140 would be optimal for me! I also have signed up for a half marathon in April with a goal time of 2 hours even. My fastest time to date is 2 hours and 11 minutes so this will be a stretch for me. I’m so excited to get rid of my last little bit of weight and meet my half marathon goal time. I’m going to use Slim-Fast along my journey to meet my goals.
Here is a weigh in from last week, my starting weight:
