Support & Comfort From Genie Bra
I’m not sure that I’ve ever talked about bras on this blog, but I’m going there today. I’m going there because I’ve been in search of some new bras. If you saw my announcement today, you’ll know that our family is expecting a new baby at the end of the summer! I’m absolutely thrilled, but in all honesty, there’s a lot that I’ve forgotten about pregnancy. It’s been over 5 years since I’ve been pregnant and one of my first signs that I was pregnant was just how sore my chest got due to extra hormones. I’m normally a pretty small girl, but during pregnancy I tend to grow 2 cup sizes or more. I’ve started to outgrow my bras this last month, and I needed something that was going to be comfortable enough to sleep in but give me the support that I needed during the day. I hadn’t heard of Genie Bra until about a month ago, but I definitely wanted to give them a try.
Genie Bra is a one piece, seamless bra without underwires. I normally wear underwires, but I have days that they rub and they aren’t really comfortable to sleep in. I’ve tried bras before that don’t have underwires and they didn’t seem to have the support or look that I wanted. I’ve been wearing the Genie Bra for close to 3 weeks now, and I wonder why I didn’t discover them a lot sooner. They are definitely comfortable, are machine washable and have removable pads to you can get the padded look if you want. They also come up quite high and can double as an undershirt which I love. In the picture below, it’s actually my white Genie Bra you see and not an undershirt, I absolutely LOVE it.
The bras wash up quite nicely and have a wider band that isn’t supposed to roll. I do find that the band on the Genie Bra still rolls up a little bit. The Genie Bra goes from an xs-4x. The Genie Bras I have are a size large since I am about a C cup right now.
I like that you can remove the pads for washing and it comes in neutral as well as fun different colors and even lace trim. Genie Bra is made with 96% nylon and 4% spandex. I have noticed that it doesn’t offer the kind of support I want while exercising though. I prefer to have tighter fitted sports bras when running, but I think the Genie Bra would be ok for low impact exercise. Overall, I really love this bra and would definitely recommend it. I’m not sure how well it works on really large busted women, but being at a C cup, it’s definitely wonderful support. The bras come in a 3 pack for $59.97 and if you buy 3 you get 3 free! That’s only $10 a bra which is very affordable. I have spent up to $50 for 1 bra so this is a great deal.
Genie Bra also carries another line, the Slim and Tone Leggings. The legging look is definitely in and the slim and tone legging gives you comfort and stomach control at the same time. They are 90% Nylon and 10% spandex. You can buy them in a 3 pack for $59.97.

I wrote this review while participating in a Blog Tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Genie Bra and received products to facilitate my post and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
