Tyson Project A+
Do you know all of the ways that you can support your child’s school? How involved are you? I know of a few different programs and fundraisers and like to support them in any way possible. Financial help for my child’s school means more resources and can in turn mean a better education.
Tyson Project A+ is a program that I wasn’t familiar with until just a few weeks ago. All you have to do is register your school on the Tyson Project A+ Website, and turn in labels on participating packages. Each label earns 24 cent donations for your school. That is definitely a good amount and would add up quickly. To register your school, you can first do a search to see if they are or aren’t registered. After a quick search, I noticed my son’s school was already registered. Since his school is already listed on the website, we are all set to send labels with him when he starts up in 4 weeks. If your school isn’t listed, the process seems very simple to get your school signed up. There are over 30 participating Tyson products that have the labels.
I love what Tyson is doing to support education and you will almost always find Tyson products in our freezer. A few of my favorite products include the Tyson Oven Roasted Diced Chicken Breast and the Grilled and Ready Chunks. My boys like the grilled chunks with some dipping sauce, and I love the diced chicken breast for salads, sandwiches, pasta and more. It definitely helps make a quick dinner.
Chicken Apple Salsa Pita
Speaking of a quick dinner, I made these fabulous Chicken Apple Salsa Pitas for dinner tonight. They were incredible and my husband raved about them too. It’s definitely a recipe that I will make again, and it was also very healthy. It came in right around 350 calories for a whole wheat pita flat bread filled to the brim with the yummy salsa.
