The Best Time to be a Kid
The holidays are so much fun when you have kids. My husband and I have often talked about how they make the spirit of Christmas really come alive. Their excitement and the way their eyes seem to shine when they see a Christmas tree lit up or talk about their favorite toy is priceless. It’s definitely the best time to be a kid. I asked my boys what their favorite part about Christmas was, and here was their reply:
Gymboree has a fun new Youtube video titled “The Best Time to be a Kid.” They have a fun video on being a kid that you can watch which basically sums up the holidays in about 30 seconds. I asked my kids what some of their favorite things about Christmas were, and this was how they responded.
How could I talk about Gymboree and not introduce you to some of their darling new lines? I’ve always loved their boy’s lines, but it’s been incredibly fun having a little girl. For Nova, I chose the Color Happy Line. I could just die of cuteness with her in that hat. She’s so adorably squishy.
Color Happy is all about fun, color and winter. I love the bright pops of color, soft fleece fabrics and fun accessories. The fleece pants are much thicker than I thought they would be and I’m really pleasantly surprised.
The boys were also fun to shop for. Gymboree’s winter collections include graphic tees, layering basics and warm flannel, sweaters, hats and boots.
I chose the Loch Ness Heroes line for Chandler. I love how he gets to wear fun graphic tees in this line and layer with his flannel shirt. He sure is handsome, but I might be a little bit biased since I am his mom.
Lastly is my good looking little Rowan. This boys loves hats, gloves, boots and all things accessories. Luckily for us, the Snow Legend line has plenty of cool accessories. I love this orange hat. It’s warm, well made and looks just too darn cute on him.
Being a kid is great during the holidays, and being dressed for the occasions is a fun plus for me and for the kids.
What was your favorite thing about the holidays as a kid?
