Real Food for Babies from Beech-Nut
Baby girl is now 7 months old. Although she is still mainly breastfed, she is learning about the big world of solid foods. We’ve been introducing things slowly and she definitely loves to eat. I’m very conscious about what she is taking into her little body and  am an avid label reader.

Baby eats Beech Nut Food

When we started into baby food, I have to admit that I was a little surprised at some of the additives and preservatives that were in some baby foods. So when I heard that Beech-Nut was coming out with a new line that revolved all around simple ingredients and real food for babies, I was excited.

About Beech-Nut

Beech-Nut is proud to provide nutritious food choices to support the growth and development of your baby. Beech-Nut baby food is made with natural ingredients. That means no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Beech-Nut leaves out what you don’t want and leaves in the natural and essential nutrients you do want.

Beech-Nut Real Food for Babies

The new line includes a startup of 40 flavors with some of those including:

  • Pomegranate, Beets and Pears
  • Spinach, Zucchini and Quinoa
  • Honeycrisp Apples
  • Apple, Cinnamon and Granola
  • Apple and Pumpkin
  • Banana, Blueberry and Green Beans
  • Mango, Carrot, Strawberry and Chia

When you look on the nutrition label, you will see very few ingredients. In fact on the honeycrisp apples label, the only ingredient is apples. The varieties that we have tried so far have really been good. I make it a habit of trying food before I give it to baby girl. I figure I want to know what things taste like before I give them to her. Some baby foods are not so great, but I honestly really liked all 4 of the varieties that we were sent. Baby girl definitely loved the apples and we can’t wait to try some of the other unique combinations. Like always, the jars are BPA free, and the new look is really cute!

Beech-Nut real foods will hit shelves this spring. You will find them priced around $1.09 a jar and retailers like Walmart, Kroger and Publix.

This is good to know that that companies like Beech Nut are making all natural baby food. I make my own baby food when my son was little. I did not like all the preservatives that were in baby food. I would use this baby food. It looks very good.

I tried everything before I put it into my son’s mouth when he was a baby/toddler. I wouldn’t give him something I couldn’t/wouldn’t eat myself. 🙂
