Eating Your Favorite Foods Without Worry
Food seems to be everywhere. It’s in your home, when you are out and about and in social settings. I love food and am definitely not a picky eater. That said, I’ve come to know how certain foods will affect my body and the positive and negative effects. I’m going to delve into something that could be a sensitive subject to many but in all honesty it’s something that everyone deals with. Gas and bloating from foods can make for very uncomfortable situations after you’ve eaten them. It can come to a point where you avoid foods or focus on limiting the intake of them.

For me, things that trigger these two symptoms for me are fresh raw veggies, especially broccoli and over indulgence. I tend to do better with veggies if they are cooked, but I like the convenience and ease of eating them raw. After further investigation, I found it interesting that broccoli is a trigger food for many people because it contains raffinose which is a complex sugar. It is hard for the small intestine to digest, therefore creating gas while it is trying to digest.
Over indulgence is also something that is a trigger for me. I have to be very careful and sometimes when I don’t feel like I’ve indulged that much, I will still get gassy and bloated.

Charco Caps Anti Gas Broccoli
CharcoCaps allow you to eat your favorite foods without dealing with the gas and bloating. It’s a unique, safe, naturally gentle dietary supplement. It uses an ingredient called activated charcoal but isn’t the charcoal you are probably thinking about. That charcoal is probably not safe to ingest and is not related to active charcoal. You simply take two capsules while or after eating your gas triggering food and then repeat every 2 hours as symptoms persist. Also note, that you shouldn’t take more than 16 capsules in a day. Other things to know about CharcoCaps:

  • A teaspoon of activated charcoal has the surface area of a footfall field due to its porous, adsorption properties.
  • CharcoCaps is gluten, dairy and sugar-free
  • Medication Interaction: It is important to wait a minimum of two hours before and/or after taking a dose of other medications/vitamins due to adsorption properties.
  • If nursing or pregnant, consult your Dr.

I haven’t personally tried CharcoCaps yet since I am nursing, but it is definitely something that I will try when I’m done nursing.
