Summer Looks for Baby Girl from Gymboree
If you follow me on Instagram, it’s no secret that a lot of my daughter’s wardrobe is from Gymboree. The lines are adorable and the quality is spot on. My boys also have a lot of Gymboree in their closet as well but for this post, I’m going to focus on the newborn and baby girl clothes.
First up is the Flamingo Flair newborn girl line. The clothing in this line is all about bright, tropical colors and feminine girly details. When I saw the tiered eyelet bubble, I knew baby girl had to have it. It’s 100% cotton, has a cute ruffle and eyelet detail and the color is beautiful. I love the details like ruffles along the strap and bows at the base of the ruffled strap. Nova is around 28 inches and 20 lbs and I bought the 12-18 months size for her. My kids are all longer in the body, so I tend to size up in the rompers. It fits perfectly and the fabric is light and breathable. I paired the strappy crib sandals with the bubble and they have become our new staple sandal. She wears them almost every day. The bottom is flexible which is great for her since she’s cruising and they stay on her feet.
The Tropi-cutie is another tropical line but in the baby girl section so it encompasses 3 months-5T. We got the Ruffled Flower Rash Guard Set it is does not disappoint. The colors are vibrant and I love having a long sleeved rash guard to put baby girl in. Sometimes I feel leery of having her pale/never seen the sun skin outside and this set makes me feel better about it. The guard has a UPF of 50+, fits well and is adorable on. This is a 12-18 month set she is wearing. She has another Gymboree swimsuit from last years’s swimwear and I can say that the quality of the swimwear is always top notch. It’s lined well and holds up really great. The picture below is from my phone since I usually don’t take my big camera to water parks.
This last outfit is from the Butterfly Catcher line. I’ve had other moms tell me before that they think Gymboree is expensive and I beg to differ. I get my best deals at Gymboree. They have fabulous sales and you can earn Gymbucks. For every $50 purchase, you earn $25 off a $50 coupon that you can redeem during a certain period of time. The outfit below consists of the pretty pineapple tank and ruffle shorts in size 6-12 months. It’s comfy, cute and she’s already gotten compliments on it. Although this is from a brand new line, the bottom and top are on sale for only $5 each. That’s the same price you would pay for shorts and top at a retailer where the quality isn’t half as good.
If you haven’t yet checked out Gymboree’s summer clothes for kids, do it! The Red Balloon Sale is going on right now and they have some amazing deals and wonderful prices.
