Hallmark Poster Cards for Kids
My boys are headed back to school next week. I honestly have mixed emotions about it all. The summer has gone way too fast and both of my boys will be in school full time. I wanted to do something special for them to give them some encouragement as they started school. What better way than to send a card?

Hallmark has some fun new Poster Cards for Kids that I thought would be the perfect compliment for a gift idea I had in mind for them. I went to Walmart to find a  card that the boys could hang in their room. I found a few different ones. In the end, I found an Avengers card with poster that would be perfect for them. It was a birthday card, but the fact that I could write a message in it and that it had a poster was enough for me to make it into an encouragement card. They also had some other cute ones including a Brave card.

After deciding on the Avengers card, I picked up a few small toys which went along great with the card. I included a note inside to let them know how special they were!

The boys felt so special when I handed them their card. They’ve both gotten cards in the past, but I think it was extra special when they realized that it turned into a poster. It was fun to watch them open it up!

This particular card had two different posters which made it even cooler. You can see how it folds out below.

Overall, I really liked the cards and think that they are fun to have.  That way the card just doesn’t get thrown away but is displayed and is a gift in and of itself.  I also picked up the Brave card to have on hand for a family or friend birthday.

I like the idea of poster cards. I am usually the type of person that saves all our cards but with this we can turn them into useful arts.
