Graco Argos 80 Elite
Graco is a brand that I have been familiar with since I had my first baby. My son’s travel system that had a stroller and car seat 9 years ago was Graco. When I went looking for a forward facing car seat when he got older, Graco was a brand that I turned to. Over the years, I’ve become familiar with many other brands, but Graco is still the first brand that I think of when I think baby gear and car seats.

Graco Argos Elite 80

Back in 2009, I purchased 2 of the Graco Nautilus Car Seats. One for my son who was 3 1/2 and another for my son who was 18 months at the time. This was before I knew better and my pediatrician at the time told me I could turn my son around at a year. The recommendation is rear facing until at least 2 now, but it wasn’t back then. I read reviews, did research and knew that I would be happy purchasing those seats. Fast forward 5 years later and both of my boys are still in that seat. They are both out of the 5 point harness now and are in the backed booster. It would be an understatement to say that I’ve been happy with these seats. They are comfortable, have held up and are great seats.

When given the chance to preview the Graco Argos 80 Elite Car Seat, I definitely wanted to see it. I knew that Graco had made improvements in the seat and know that it will be the seat my daughter transitions to when she is forward facing. The Argos 80 Elite goes from forward facing 5 point harness, to backed booster, to backless booster. When your child is ready, it will literally be the last car seat you ever need to buy for them.

The measurements on this seat are Height: 29″, Width: 20″, Depth: 22″. The seat has a one step assembly from the box and allows your child years of safety. The 5 point harness can be easily removed in just a few minutes so that the seat can be converted to a backed or backless booster.  There is so much that I love about this seat.  It is user friendly, affordable, well made, has great safety features and more.  It is easy and straight forward to install.  It’s not a car seat that I’ve ever struggled with installing.  To learn more about the Argos and see it, watch my video below.

The Graco Argos 80 Elite is priced at around $200.  You can buy it from Amazon or Babies R Us.

I have never used a Graco carseat, I have a different favorite brand. But the idea of a 3 in 1 is very intriguing.
